Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following conditions:

  1. Parent’s Employment Status:
    • The applicant’s father or guardian must be a registered mine worker under the Mines Labour Welfare Commissionerate Punjab.
    • Workers should be registered with EOBI (Employees’ Old-Age Benefits Institution) or have a valid employment record.
    • In special cases, if not registered, an affidavit verified by the Assistant Mines Labour Welfare Commissioner may be accepted.
  2. Eligible Students:
    • Students enrolled in recognized schools, colleges, or universities.
    • The scholarship is available for classes 1 to postgraduate level.
    • Students in prep or nursery classes are not eligible.
  3. Family Limit:
    • A maximum of two children per family can apply for the scholarship in one session.
  4. Exclusions:
    • Students already receiving scholarships from other welfare boards may not be eligible.
    • Students studying in Mines Labour Welfare or Workers Welfare Board schools are generally not entitled to this scholarship.

  • Application forms can be obtained from regional offices of the Mines Labour Welfare Organization Punjab, located in Chakwal, Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Khushab, Dera Ghazi Khan, Multan, and other districts.
